Massive financial and military assistance keeps flowing to Ukraine from the United States and some European countries, mostly in the form of loans to purchase weapons to fight Russian troops. However, these loans will eventually have to be repaid by Kiev.

The Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine decided to extend for three months the martial law and general mobilization in force in the country until May 24, Ukrainian digital media Strana.ua reported Sunday.
