A civil action against the Trump administration has been filed for "violations of their procedural and substantive due process rights under the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, violation of the APA, and for class relief pursuant to Rule 23."
Six Honduran refugees and migrants, part of the Central American Exodus, are suing President Donald Trump, Attorney General Jeff Sessions and different officials of the U.S. government, for "shockingly unconstitutional" procedures against asylum-seekers.

A civil action against the Trump administration has been filed "for violations of their procedural and substantive due process rights under the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, violation of the APA, and for class relief pursuant to Rule 23."
The actions taken by the U.S. government have been unconstitutional, according to the lawsuit. "Trump’s professed and enacted policy towards thousands of caravanners seeking asylum in the United States is shockingly unconstitutional."
The lawsuit also explained that "President Trump continues to abuse the law, including constitutional rights, to deter Central Americans from exercising their lawful right to seek asylum in the United States, and the fact that innocent children are involved matters none to President Trump."
US President Donald Trump said Wednesday, among other things that he has said during the past weeks, he would send up to 15,000 troops to the border with Mexico to prevent the migrant caravan from entering the country, as the mid-term elections get closer.
The migrants in the Central American Exodus caravan are seeking for asylum, however, "Trump has repeatedly professed that the caravan people will not get into this county, and just as significant, Trump has taken meaningful steps to ensure the world that this is his policy position/initiative, meaningful steps such as deploying thousands of active military troops to the border, waiting on caravan persons to arrive."

The U.S. military forces, alongside with border patrol officers and ICE agents, would patrol the U.S.-Mexico border to block, stop and arrest migrants and asylum seekers trying to enter the U.S. The use of lethal force was suggested against what Donald Trump has called an "invasion", and then he was forced to back down.
Donald Trump has said that the immigrants and asylum seekers would be detained in "massive tent cities," up until the moment of their expulsion of the country, and that people claiming for asylum would be blocked.
"Despite these statements and actions, Trump has been unable to produce any evidence of criminals and gang members within the caravan, which has largely proceeded peacefully on its journey." Renowned U.S. intellectual and political activist, Noam Chomsky, said Friday that the United States is responsible for the conditions that have led to the mass exodus from Central American countries.
